Re: Livingston RC Park
Great time at the park today! Two new guys that are probably joining RC518 as I type showed up and kicked butt with their nitros! As of today, there have only been two trucks to make it up the hill climb. The nitro without the body was the second one. Good job!
The new jump-over is now a double. It seems to be working perfect now with the new design but you have to ease off the throttle now or you'll go 20' or so, passing the next burm in the air. Jrich4x4 has done a couple crazy jumps off it! I'm not sure if the inside line up to the jump is going to work as well now but we'll see what happens.
One of the new guys was hitting the big jump and was going 20' or more!
The new clay surfacing seems to be working great and provides a lot of bite.
Thanks to you guys for another great day at the park!! Here are a few photos from today, enjoy!
The new jump-over! :) We could have had several more people in there with the height and distance he got! The photo shows him on the way up.
Josh was sent to the hole!

Awesome pics !!!!!!!
That was a blast today !! The new double is definetly a great addition ! That one guy with the nitro was nuts hitting that 5' kicker ! he could of landed on the bank turn (which was about 20 feet away!) I fixed the 4wd on the good old slash, so i'm ready to run again tomorrow....same time same place !!

Yeah, it is pretty cool. Someone keeps leaving their trash around for others to clean up but other than that, it races nice.
If the person who keeps leaving their trash is reading this, please take it back home with you so I don't have to clean it up. Thanks!
Sunday at 10:05 AM I plan to be there with JRich4x4 and possibly others. You should stop by then. Bring all of your batteries, your charger and spare parts!
A fold out chair and drinks seem to be popular too during the breaks.
My number is 573-301-4951 if you can't find the place.

Re: Livingston RC Park
We went down 7/25 to check out the track and there was a search party for a missing rensselaer woman, we felt selfish for running anyway but it was worth it. Two Albany P.D. came down and chatted me and my buddy up for 5 minutes before leaving without consequence.

Here you go.
I-90 towards Loudonville take northern blvd exit. Take a left @ the light(northern blvd). Go straight through 2 more lights.... past Stewarts (on right side). Go over the bridge & take first right just before the old Livingson Middle School on the right. Go to the end of the dead end road (Tivoli Park)...& walk past the yellow guardrail, gate and the "no vehicles allowed" type sign. The track will be on the left a couple hundred feet in.
It's right next to Livingston Middle School (now closed but still there).
Google maps has the parking spot coming up as this address.
618 Manning Blvd N

Here are some photos of Xanthra's Super E-maxx/Monster Beetle. We put some Swamp Kong tires on it for a while just to bash around on the track. Great time!!

"leaving"ston rc park
Made a trip to livingston on saturday and it looked like no one had been there in weeks. The track was covered in leaves but after a little work it was clear to run on. If any one is planning to go down bring a rake.

Re: Livingston RC Park
I stopped before work tuesday and raked the track. Ran the slash 4x4 for a few battery packs after. much better than monday with the 2wd and no rake.
