Cat Box Raceway

I am considering building a track in Clifton Park. I have the space to do a track that will fit in a 50'x75' area. It could be larger. The spot has electricity,water and plenty of asphalt pit space. Nitro would also be able to be run. I have to go to the town and see if its possible.
By the title of this thread the tracks name would be, because of its location,
Cat Box Raceway.
Is there enough interest. This would be a part time hobby buisness for me. Not looking to make money just pay for itself.

Let me know your thoughts.

So would this be offroad... or onroad?

This would be an off road 1/10-1/8 electric and possibly nitro.

Ordered 100 yards of top soil today. Should have it possibly by the weekend. It all depends on the weather. I think I'll start posting photos as things start to progress.

was at the site yesterday with ryan. an absolute perfect spot for a track. neutral location, fenced in, not in the open, lots of space to park and pit, and a huge area for whats gonna be an awesome track . what we need next is a skidsteer to move the dirt around. if anyone has a connection for one please let us know. other than that we will need to build a drivers stand. ive got a connection for the wood, just need some volunteers to help assemble. spread the word and have them come here to rc518 to read up on it. this will be huge for this area. any questions feel free to contact ryan or myself as im helping him out with it

im totally in! talk to Dave Lareau he knows who i'em.dave and i go way back. You can count on me helping and building/maintaining this track at a moments notice.just talk to mr DAVE.HE'LL GIVE YOU MY CONTACT INFO.

dirt has been delivered...now we need a lead on a skidsteer w/ tracks or someone to do the job...should be 1/2 day of work

Shooting for this weekend to start moving the dirt. Weather permitting. Any help would be appreciated. Bring your own shovel.

we are going to work on saturday, but im sure ryan can elaborate some more. We are still trying to locate a skidsteer/ or a guy with his own machine that will work for cash possibly.....there is 50yrds that was just dumped so thats quite a bit of work without a machine. ive got a couple people that im waiting to hear back from as far as running a machine for a few hours. were open to offers/suggestions though.

Ive run into a bunch of people recently and they are real excited to see this happen it seems. lots of interest and lots of people willing to help. so thats a good thing. a couple weekends of work and i think well be in business
