Slash 4x4 - Racing???

Lets start talking about the Traxxas Slash 4x4 on here...

ARE WE EVER GOING TO GET SOME ORGANIZED RACING GOING ON???

What the info, on that track you were talking about?

Start a thread about it in track talk. I know a couple of my friends are interested already.

Josh as you know the local scene is much more of a "bashing" type scene... the larger not so local tracks are getting the 4x4 classes running currently... I think more or less they are going to fall under the strict ROAR rules and guidelines though so most of our trucks wouldnt fit the bill... especially since they are short course... IE: Wheels completely under body... no 1/8th scale wheels...motor/esc configuration the rules are set so that most people dont have to spend a grand to get things rolling and be competitive...

You guys should check out this track that I posted earlier today. It's great for just bashing around with friends or racing. I'm pretty sure the expert crawlers are going to like it too. The only down side is that there's no electricity. My long term vision for the place includes it though.

I'll be out there tomorrow afternoon doing a little bit of general maintenance. If anyone is interested in stopping in let me know by tomorrow AM and we can exchange numbers if needed.

I checked out the post, Not sure exactly where the track is... is it near Livingston Middle School? or on the Arbor Hill Side? Im gonna head down there in a little bit to see if I can find it.

Yes, Park near the end of the road and walk about 150' past the gate and down the gravel roadway.

Pretty Sweet! Cool track, easy on ce you know where it is... Otherwise, it is hard to find... :-) Pics soon to come.
