Livingston RC Park

Hello! Here's a flyer I just posted on Craiglist. I'm looking to get some people together at this track. It's a pretty nice park with a lot of cool aspects! Electricity is not available for charging batteries...yet.

Where: Manning Blvd North off of Northern Blvd, Albany, NY

Bring your RC cars, trucks and truggies and tear it up at the best track in town!

Features include:

Rock crawling:The best rock crawling course in upstate NY with challenges for any comp. crawler or recreational crawler.

Dirt Track: 2' and 3' burmed road course with a jump over. Has plenty of flow, groomed and allows for plenty of speed!! Bring your gas or electric trucks or cars. A MUST for any stadium racer!! T-Maxx, E-Maxx, Revo VXL, Slash, buggies and anything of comporable quality will work great!

Hill Climbs: There are three hill climbs, one which has yet to be conquered by any truck! One is a straight up climb and two have obstacles along the way for more of a challenge.

Jump: A 5' groomed dirt jump is provided for anyone wishing to get some air or practice some tricks!!

Things to bring: Battery chargers, AC converter to charge batteries from your vehicle and a chair. Electricity is not provided.

Parking: Streetside parking at the end of Manning Blvd - North, adjacent to the Livingston Middle School. Walk through yellow gated entrance.


Anyone wishing to watch is encouraged to attend.

I have a couple but not worthy of posting. I'll post a few from Sunday. It's a pretty cool area though with plenty to do. It should be a good time!

Sorry to hear that the directions sucked. I can now see why you got lost though. There are multiple breaks in North Manning that really don't make any sense at all and should be renamed...sorry about that...

The address you would need to park near is 596 Manning Boulevard
Albany, NY 12210 according to Google and the ONLY house on the street. Their map, however, shows N. Manning, along with other sections throughout town. Do a google search for "Park Road" as it's right there too. Each road is only 1/8 mile long and will get you right to the spot.

Yeah, I guess now that I'm getting into the scene I'd best start meeting all of you hardcore RC guys! I'm pretty sure I'll be there tomorrow. I'll have to double check my plans with my girlfriend. I don't think she was planning anything.

The best way to give directions is to get off I90 on the Northern Blvd exit. Turn left and go passed Memorial Hospital and go over the I90 Bridge. just after the bridge on the right hand side is a street sign that says N Manning Blvd. Turn right on this dead end street, and park near the gate. (Right next to/ Behind Livingston Middle School!) Walk down the gravel road about 150 Ft, and on the left is the track, you do need to look for it, as you will walk right passed it. Enjoy!

If anyone gets a chance i'd definetly recommend heading over to the track by livingston school ! I had a blast today...there are rock crawling spots, insane hill climbs, and a huge 5-6 ft jump. The track was sick !! They have huge banks so u can carry alot of speed & a jump that launches you over other cars/trucks into the turns!!

Let me know if anyone wants directions, i'm going to head over tomorrow...

Yeah, it was pretty wet. If we removed a couple puddles it would have been fine but I'm sure after the storm we just got, it's a swamp. We didn't use the trucks...crawling would have been fine though.

hahahaha that was awesome !! if that doesn't prove how water proof the slash is nothing will ! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE VIDEO !!

Those shocks work good too. i just launched it off a 4 ft truck loading dock & it didn't even bottom out. I'm using 50 wgt w/ the medium springs.

Depending on the weather i'm going to try heading down to the livingston track in the a.m. around 10....
