Goose Chase
Thought I would start a thread about these cars. I will post up some pics as soon as I get the body painted. Also any tips or tricks anyone has come up with. For those of you that are thinking about racing feel free to ask questions here.

Re: Goose Chase
Brett, have you tried adjusting the droop on the car yet? I had a heck of a time doing it on mine, especially in the front. It's hard to juggle setting ride height with the clips and setting droop with the chassis screws without screwing the other up. I'm just not used to touring car type setups and setting droop, etc. I find it(droop) confusing, and I don't have an accurate way of measuring it. Guesswork.
Anyway, I put the yellow springs in the front and the red in the rear as suggested by MikeR of Exotek. And the ride height is at 5mm. The battery is now in the rear position, per MikeR.

Re: Goose Chase
Brett,
I have metalic silver coming in Friday I think.
Also I will have a Goose 240z Fairlady coming in too. And a supply of the 21 turn motors I think Dave wants to run in the cars. I also am ordering some of the Sweep tires that fit these cars.

Re: Goose Chase
Excellent job Brett; I love it!! Have you driven it yet?
I suggest you trim the tops of the body posts a little so they don't stick up so much. Other than that it's perfect!

Re: Goose Chase
I took the car out for a little while yesterday. I learned a few things. 1)The parking lots still have a lot of sand and stones on them. 2)The spur and pinion of the goose really like to pick up sand and stones. 3)Sand does not provide and traction. 4)I really need to get the car on some carpet to dial in the chassis.

Re: Goose Chase
Some silver might look good. For now i need to clean the car and replace the pinion and spur. The pinion and spur are not completely shot but the sand did a number on them. I like 64p better anyway. I still need to glue up the ABC wheels and tires so I can compare them with the sweep. The sweeps are avalible in 3 different temps as well.
