Yea I must have issues aswell with FB. Cannot find the group on there . I keep on getting results for Cat 5 e cable lol.

Saturday May 7, 9:30am looks like it will be a good day to work on the track. If we can get another group together and accomplish the same amount of work we did last week, i think the actual construction of the track might get finished. Don't forget I'll provide lunch . Hope to see many of you there.
As for 1/8 nitro, The lanes are 8', could be a little tight. Nitro can be run during daylight hours.

Badlands RC in myrtle beach where I use to race a while back had 8ft lanes, NO probs with 1/8th scale buggy. Also you will be right in league with getting R.O.A.R Sanctioning with that size.

When does "The Catbox" officially open? What are the hours? Any idea of the classes and rules for race days? I am planning on getting a 4x4 short course truck and want to build it to the needed class specs.

keep an eye on the Facebook page as we will be posting some classes there soon. i believe this saturday will be a tentative opening day. come check us out and run some packs for some fun. bring whatever you have as it will be a "run what u brung" day. again, keep an eye on the FB page for more details

Here's the schedule for now. Things could change, but this is how it is right now:
The track will be open for practice on Wednesdays 4pm til dark, Saturdays 10-5, Sundays 10-5. Practice fee will be $8 per day. Race fee's will be $15 first entry or $20 unlimited entries per person. Race fee will include the use of a transponder. The system will handle AMB personals,mylaps or mrt transponders
