Cat Box Raceway

Time to put this in the section it belongs.

The track is located at 12 Fire Rd, Clifton Park NY 12065 exit 9 off I87[northway]behind Benson's Pet Center.

As of right now the hours of operation are Wed 4-Dark, Sat&Sun 10-5.
The track will be open more hours in the near future.

Track fees are:
Practice days $8
Organized races $15 for 1 entry or $20 for as many classes as you want to run.
Race fees include the use of a transponder. The AMB Lap Scoring system is being used and AMB or the MRT personal transponder will work.

Classes are open for discussion right now but look like this:
2wd SC stock
4wd SC mod
Box stock slash
2wd buggy stock/mod??
2wd stadium truck stock/mod??

Not to be a bummer but the track is located behind a gated fence. If you are found on the track on off hours you will be considered trespassing.

what are the rules for stock sc

I hope they are not like the stock SC class at RCH where you can modify pretty much anything,I would hope they would remain pretty much box stock with the exception of swaping motors and tires within the SC trucks.

thats how it was at rch box stock with durability upgrades like rpm arms and shock towers i didnt see anything that was performance upgrades sorry tfelog to get of topic i dont have a face book just wanted to know sc rules

jake i will make sure the rules get posted one here when there finalized but right now the stock class is looking like the rules are going to be just like rch rules

2wd short coarse stock class
* Must be motor and esc that comes in a stock 2wd short coarse truck (brushed or brushless)
* Must be tires that come stock on a 2wd short coarse truck
* must have a traditional short coarse body (NO open wheel bodies)
* Endurance upgrades are ok (example: rpm parts)
* Shock upgrades are ok
* Lcg kits are allowed
* Part swapping is allowed (example: running sc10 tired on a slash)
* 6cell nimh or 2s lipo only

2wd short coarse mod
* any motor esc combo allowed
* must have a traditional short coarse body (NO open wheel bodies)
* any upgrades allowed
* 6cell nimh or 2s lipo only
* Any tire allowed

4wd short coarse mod
* must have a traditional short coarse body (NO open wheel bodies)
* any motor esc combo allowed
* any upgrades allowed
* 7cell nimh or 2s lipo only
* Any tire allowed

2wd buggy
* Any motor allowed
* 6cell nimh or 2s lipo only
* Any buggy tires allowed
* All upgrades allowed

And as always 3 cars makes a class

Can anyone tell me what kind of organics are used in the top soil the track is made from?
