Cannon Run Begins Sunday August 15, 2010

Alright Guys and Gals,

After receiving many requests as to what the next track will look like, here it is. I figure posting it a day before will also give us some time to discuss the layout and share some car set-ups on Wednesday. Get your thinking caps on!

I like it! What are you thinking for measurements? @32' wide by @65' long? That would make a nice long front straight and keep the lanes @8' wide throughout the course. If longer even better. :) What I like the best is the name you gave it! lol

I think it looks good. Definitely different from the last track. What's up with smoke though

looks good "smoke" ,what the hell am i doin...Ken change ur name back but the track looks every interestin the names i have 2 agreed w/ Randy r great, & funny...

taking the measurement with 8' wide lanes makes the track 32' wide X about 77' long end to end. I dig!

just throwing this out there the straight can only be 7 feet wide unless we want to funnel throught the scoring rack again but i dont think we want to do that im not sure how much more Jeremy's cooler can take lol

"THE COOLER" will always have to be in place to protect the wire from being pulled out, plus it makes for some good crashes with lots of broken parts, and that is very important with keeping the hobby shop in business. One way to avoid broken parts is to buy up all the "ICE Cold Drinks" from me thus making the cooler lighter weight so it moves a little when you hit it.

I think if we either wrap the poles in foam or went with, Brian's? idea that you told me.

Al also had an idea that sounds great too.

My idea, we all learn to drive better or stop parking or cars on the back stretch,

Cooler needs more "adult beverages" in it....

lol.


The track looks fun to rip on. Definately a good idea to NOT put the scaring (typo intended) loop halfway down on the straightaway as it is less likely to be a cocktail beverage catastrophy with chassis.
