So it started already? Not a driver's meeting the 1st week of Oct and racing to begin around the 15th? Bummer! Looks like I'll be missing a few weeks. Are there any rules or is it just kinda "run what you brung?"

we ran inside only because it was calling for rain. I'm pretty sure we are going to race outside this Sunday one last time and then move it inside S&H on the carpet. It has been getting so cold the parking lot has no bite.

Ah ok cool, glad I didn't miss out! I'm hoping to attend the driver meeting/warm-up (if there is one) because I need to buy stuff for my 1/18ths and I need to know what the rules are going to be. Basically I'm trying to figure out if I should go brushless vs brush and nimh vs lipo.

we are coming up with classes now, nothing set in stone yet. I think the 19 turn reedy "spec" class we have been running in the parking lot will stay "same rules", an 18th scale class, a WGT class that will be silver can motor, spec battery, tread tire/spoke rim, and realistic body. The idea is to make the cars look Real. The motor and battery will be at S&H for what I was told 10bucks for the motor and $15 for the battery, they are also putting together some discount pricing for anyone who wants to buy in as a package to run that class. and the Mod class which is any motor, battery and esc you want to run. all touring car classes will be rubber tires. like I said before, nothing is set in stone yet but these have been a few ideas we have been throwing around. We don't want to go crazy making a million classes until we have a larger turnout expect to see around 20 to 30 guys racing on Wed. nights any by all means tell your friends about how fun it's been. the more people racing will mean more fun for everyone!
