    Nice location... Wink

Believe it or not you can paint the body yourself with a little patience... we do tons of bodies here at the house... and are just starting to dabble into airbrushing... everything we have was rattle can...

That isnt a Buggy! Its a Slash 4x4 Platinum! It is the JConcepts Bajr Body and I am running ProLine 1/8 Scale Wheel Adapters, and Proline Hyper 1/8 Scale Wheels and ProLine Badlands Tires. Also, RPM Front, Rear Bumpers and Swingarms. :-) I painted the body with 5 different flourescent spray/rattle Cans... No Airbrush for me! Oh, and the Location was at Ross's home track. Thanks Ross! Laughing

Let me know, I enjoy painting bodies~!

Do you think you could do something like that??? let me know what you need... i'm working nights pretty much all this week... + i have my slash in the shop for a minor repairs.....maybe we can set something up for next week.....

    Thanks.... Josh (my name too...lol)

    That is actually done by:

-Removing the protective film from the body
-Placing the window masks on the outside of the window
    -Paint wise
    -Outlaw Black by Testors
-Silver was an Acrylic Paint Pen(You can find them at Michaels, AC Moore)
-Then you actually paint the body on the outside instead of the inside

I actually called about how they did the paint job. Some inherent problems you may face is the paint scraping off but, if the paint is just no frills black. Then it can be touched up at anytime.

I have the JConcepts Manta body on order. But I am going to go a different route. Would definitely be awesome to see in person, though. A definite should do!

    Hope this helps.

The only way you can get the "flat" look is to paint the outside of the body. The problem is with scraches and peeling paint. I would go with a differnt color on the truck and paint the inside. or paint it flat black on the inside, it will be a little glossier, but at least it wont scratch. also, as you have the body over time it will get dull and "flat" because of all the dirt and small scratches. If you want the same effect with the chrome bolts, go to Science and hobby and get the chrome marker pen, mark up what you want chrome, then paint it.

    Hope this helps...

if you want more help, let me know.
