yeah drifting is where it's at! I'm totally getting some tires after driving your car. Maybe we can have another paint contest so Al will buy some more wheels and tires only to sell them to me unused for half price when it's over. :D

Re: Hooked on Drifting!
Its not about power, its torque. The wheels that slip and the ground that grips, friction is a huge threshhold to break with a fine line between too much and too little.
Speed is fun, but control is critical and knowing how a car will react is quintessential to that formula. Its going to take us time to be able to rip around a course with confidence and prowess.

Re: Hooked on Drifting!
I agree. It's going to take some time, but it will be awesome when we can rip around as a group. My friend Brian said we could use his shop on Sundays, Feldmans Service Center. It's a smooth cement floor, 300 Columbia Tpk. East Greenbush. He was the guy with the sprint 2 last Wed.
D boxes are cheating. Look around and read what all the hardcore drift guys say about them. From what I have read you don't get any props if you use one.

Oh I realize about the power... the issue is that car is my backup in case of a breakage on my course car... so I want it to at least "feel" fast...LOL
